I am heading off to BloggerCon so I decided I better get the antlers trimmed.
Yeah, I did put it off until the night before so I called a local SuperCuts.
The cut seemed to be good (but I leave that up to others to decide.)
They had a HUGE sign saying "If we do not ask if you want a shampoo, your haircut is FREE!"
Of course, they didn't ask. So when I brought that up at the cash register they offered me a shampoo for free. We went back and forth. The final answer was that the person that checked me in and spoke to me on the phone wasn't there so they couldn't verify it.
Needless to say, I was not a satisfied customer.
So when I got home, I went to the SuperCuts website to see if I could find a customer contact number. Nope. Email address? nope! US Mail Address? nope!
So digging a little bit, I came across the parent company, Regis Corp., and I checked their site. Nothing for customers to contact the company. It all has to do with franchising and corporate type contacts.
These kind of promotions are really bad. They alienate the customers as well as causing friction between the customer and the employees.
Forget about a blog. Have at least some way for you to contact the company to provide feedback!
During my search, I found out that Regis Corp has salons under the following brands:
- Regis Salons
- Trade Secret
- Cost Cutters
- Carlton Hair International
- Mia & Maxx Hair Studio
- Salon Gift Cards
- First Choice Haircutters
- City Looks
- Hair Crafters
- Great Expectations (Isn't this a matchmaking company???)
- We Care Hair
- Style America
- Best Cuts
- Regis Hairstylists (UK)
- MasterCuts (UK)
- Supercuts (UK)
- Trade Secret (UK)
- Hair Express (UK)
- The Salon (UK)
- Jean Louis David
- Saínt Algue
- Coiff & Co.
- City Looks Europe
- Vidal Sassoon
I did find the domain registration info for Regis Corp. and will try to call the main number when I get back from BloggerCon.
7201 METRO BLVD
MINNEAPOLIS, MN 55439-2130 US
You can see on the main Regis Corp. website that they are more interested in their stock value than their customers.
